This music stand is manufactured from solid Rio Palisander. Today, the wood which was large in fashion in the sixties, is very expensive.
It has a beautiful color, is interestingly grained and is very hard and rigidly .
You don't need to paint or color it.
In former times, when suitable box-wood wasn't available, I used it for recorder making. The music stand is easily demountably and adjustable into height and an inclination.
